Electric Vehicle Incentives

Current incentives available to Vermonters for the purchase of a new or used electric vehicle.

State of Vermont

Up to $10,000
$1,500 to $5,000 for eligible purchases of new EVs, up to $5,000 for used high-efficiency vehicles. Additional $5,000 available with the Replace Your Ride program.

Federal Tax Credit

Up to $7,500
Up to $7,500 depending on the vehicle manufacturing location and material sourcing, battery size, income, purchase price, and your annual tax liability.
